Course Enrollment

Enrollment Terms & Refund Policy

REFUND, CREDIT & ENROLLMENT POLICY

Registration fees, application fees, and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Students may request a class transfer or instructor change after the first class session, subject to availability and approval by New York Art Studio. The School does not guarantee changes to instructors, schedules, or class availability.

After the first class session, tuition payments are non-refundable. In certain approved cases, the remaining unused tuition balance may be converted to studio credit for transfer to another class, program, or instructor within New York Art Studio. Approved credit transfers must be used within six (6) months from the original registration date unless otherwise approved in writing by the School.

Students requesting to temporarily hold unused class credit must notify New York Art Studio in advance. Expired credits will not be extended, refunded, transferred, or reactivated.

Students who fail to attend scheduled classes without prior notice (“no-show”) are not eligible for refunds, make-up credits, reimbursement, or credit recovery for missed class sessions.

Private lesson packages, make-up credits, and course credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the enrolled Student.

New York Art Studio reserves the right to modify instructors, schedules, classroom assignments, course structures, and program arrangements when necessary due to operational, educational, or scheduling needs.

STUDENT DISCIPLINARY & STUDIO POLICY

Students are expected to maintain respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior at all times while attending classes, workshops, consultations, or studio activities at New York Art Studio. The School reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment without refund in cases involving disruptive behavior, harassment, repeated absences, failure to follow studio policies or instructor directions, property damage, or conduct that negatively affects the learning environment or studio operations.

Students are expected to follow their assigned schedule and arrive on time for all classes. In the event of an absence, the Student must notify New York Art Studio by phone or email at least 24 business hours in advance. No-show absences without prior notice will not qualify for make-up class credit. Approved make-up sessions must be scheduled and used within the valid course period.

Students are responsible for their personal belongings and for maintaining a clean studio workspace. New York Art Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unclaimed personal belongings, artwork, portfolios, supplies, or materials left in the studio after the student’s enrollment or course period has ended.

New York Art Studio reserves the right to photograph, record, reproduce, publish, and use classroom images, student participation, and artwork created during enrollment for educational, promotional, marketing, website, social media, portfolio, and publication purposes.
